Volume 1—Identity and Worth—laid the foundation of who you are and where your sense of self has been shaped.
Volume 2—Body Trust, Movement and Mindful Strength—brought you into relationship with your physical body, its signals, and its strength.
This volume goes deeper still. Into the layer beneath identity. Into the place where the nervous system has been quietly running the show.
Each volume builds on the one before it. But if this is your first step into the series, you are welcome here exactly as you are. This book can be read on its own. You do not need to start at the beginning to find what you need here.
A Word From the Author
I did not write this book because I had stress figured out.
I wrote it because something happened that proved I did not.
After more than twenty years of studying psychology, doing the inner work, and writing about healing, I found myself in the middle of a relational situation that brought me to my knees in a way nothing had in a long time. I had every tool I had spent decades building. And none of it was enough. The tools were not wrong, but what was happening was deeper than the tools could reach on their own.
The missing piece was nervous system literacy. The ability to read what my body was doing, understand why, and create a real path to address it at the root.
Once I found that piece, everything I had already built began to make more sense.
This book is what I needed in that season. And I believe it is what someone reading these words needs right now.
