Sabbath & Stillness: Our Community Gathering
In a culture shaped by urgency, productivity, and constant noise, community rooted in rest is not a luxuryโit is a necessity. Our Sabbath Community exists as a shared space to pause, reconnect, and remember who we are when striving is set aside.
This gathering is not about performance, conformity, or instruction. It is about presence. About showing up as whole peopleโbody, mind, heart, and spiritโand allowing rest to restore what life slowly depletes.
Real fellowship. Honest questions. Scripture explored together.

Why Sabbath Community Matters (Biblical + Emotional)
From the beginning, Sabbath was never meant to be practiced alone. In Scripture, rest is woven into community lifeโa shared rhythm that re-orients people toward what is lasting, relational, and life-giving.
Biblically, Sabbath is a collective invitation:
- To remember we are created beings, not machines
- To step out of survival mode and into trust
- To return to relationshipโwith the Creator and with one another
Socio-emotionally, community anchored in rest does something powerful. It regulates the nervous system, restores a sense of belonging, and creates safety for honest reflection. When people rest together, comparison softens, defenses lower, and connection deepens.
This is why Sabbath community is healing. It gives us permission to be, not just do.
What This Community Is (and Is Not)
This is:
- A space for shared rest and reflection
- A community shaped by respect, gentleness, and listening
- A rhythm, not a requirement
- A place for fellowship
- A safe place to question
This is not:
- A therapy group
- A debate forum
- A place for fixing or instructing others
Everyone is welcome to come as they are.

Come to the Table
The Sabbath Table Gathering has its own newsletter โ a quiet one, sent to those who want to keep the rhythm of rest without doing it alone.
It carries what the week has stirred: a reflection to bring into your Shabbat, a blessing for the table, a recipe worth making slowly. Some weeks it is simply a reminder that you are allowed to stop.
You will also find everything you need to sit down with us. We gather around the table together, and this is how you will know when and where.
Come as you are. Stay as you are able.
There is a seat here that no one else can fill.
Join us each Sabbath for a time of fellowship, reflection, and truth-centered discussion.
The Sabbath Table Gathering is a space where believers come together with open hearts and open minds to explore Scripture, ask questions freely, and grow in understanding of YHVHโs Word. Each gathering blends study and real conversation centered on living out Torah and the teachings of Yeshua today.
We meet Saturdays from 12:00โ3:00 PM EST via Zoom.
Whether youโre just beginning to question church tradition or have been walking in the Hebraic way for years, youโll find welcome, wisdom, and fellowship at the Sabbath Table.

Missed the Table? The Conversation Continues.
Couldnโt join us liveโor curious about what happens around the Sabbath Table?
Our Sabbath Table Gatherings are now available to watch on the Healthy in Heart YouTube channel. These are real, unscripted conversations from our weekly gatherings, where we explore Scripture, ask questions, share discoveries, wrestle with ideas, laugh together, and follow the conversation wherever it leads.
There is no set lesson and no expectation that every conversation will stay neatly on one subject. Around this table, Torah, Scripture, history, faith, everyday life, and the questions we are currently exploring all have a way of finding their place in the conversation.
We began preserving these gatherings because too much valuable information was being shared to simply let it disappear when the Zoom room closed. Now you can catch a gathering you missed, revisit a conversation, or simply listen in and get a feel for our community before joining us live.
