Help test recipes before they go into a cookbook.
As a Recipe Tester, you’ll try recipes from an upcoming cookbook project before it’s published. Then you’ll report back on taste, clarity of instructions, and how it actually turned out in your own kitchen. This isn’t a weekly commitment — it’s tied to specific cookbook projects as they come up. Therefore, you’ll only hear from us when there’s a real batch of recipes ready for testing.
What you get out of it:
- Free early access to cookbook recipes before anyone else sees them
- A say in the final version of recipes other readers will use
- A free finished copy of the cookbook once it’s published, as a thank-you for the extensive testing involved
- The fun of trying something new in your own kitchen, with a purpose behind it
Good to know before you apply:
- This role is project-based, tied to cookbook releases, not an ongoing weekly commitment.
- Testing typically involves a portion of the cookbook’s full recipe list. Usually, it is delivered in batches with a deadline for each round, rather than all at once.
- A phone number is requested for occasional time-sensitive updates, like testing deadlines.
- Because we’ll mail you a finished copy of the cookbook as a thank-you, we’ll ask for a mailing address when you apply.
- By participating, you agree that Healthy in Heart Media may use portions of your feedback as testimonials on our website or marketing materials. These will be credited to your first name and last initial (e.g., “Angel T.”) unless you request a different attribution format.
See our Privacy Policy for details on how your application information, including any health-related responses, is collected and used.
