Description
I created this Walker Bag crochet pattern years ago when my mother-in-law began using a walker. I quickly realized how difficult it is to carry everyday essentials while using mobility aids — purses slip, hands are occupied, and even simple items like a phone or drink become hard to manage.
This pattern was designed to solve that problem with dignity and practicality. The finished bag attaches securely to a standard walker and provides space for papers, a phone, drinks, and other essentials. It’s functional, sturdy, and thoughtfully designed for real life.
The pattern is beginner-friendly with clear instructions, though it does require some light sewing to attach the sides, bottom, and pockets.
This listing is for a printer-friendly PDF crochet pattern, available for instant download after purchase.
The pattern is also available on Etsy and Ravelry at the same price.
This is a digital pattern only. No physical item will be shipped.
This pattern is periodically updated for clarity and improvements. Previous purchasers may re-download the latest available.

Some parts of the pattern are a little hard to understand. The “standing” SC or HDC should go into the “back loop” of the stitch, not the bottom loop as indicated in the pattern. Watching the you-tube tutorial did help to clarify. I haven’t checked the pattern any further than that. Otherwise, I do like the style and the walker bag looks really sturdy.
