Todd G. Keaton | Co-Author

Hi, Iโ€™m Toddโ€”a husband, dad, musician, and lifelong student of Scripture. I was born and raised in Vinton, Virginia, and now live in Roanoke with my wife Angel, our daughter Kelsey, and what I like to call our โ€œsmall kingdom of cats.โ€

I grew up Presbyterian, later Baptist, and spent over two decades playing bass and guitar on worship teams. I loved the musicโ€”but I started noticing something missing. The more I read Scripture, the more I realized the Messiahโ€™s words didnโ€™t always match what we were being taught or what we were practicing. In 2017, that tension led me on a journey back to the roots of my faithโ€”to Torah, to Yeshuaโ€™s teachings in their Hebrew context, and to the simple call: walk it out.

That turning point reshaped everything I believe about righteousness, worship, and obedience. Now, through writing, music, and honest conversation, I help others question inherited doctrines and return to the words that started it all.

โœ๏ธ Why I Write

I write because truth matters more than comfort.
Because the modern church has traded obedience for opinion.
Because Yeshuaโ€™s call to โ€œfollow Meโ€ still means something real, something practical.

Through books, YouTube discussions, and open dialogue, I want to help people rediscover faith that does somethingโ€”faith that lives like it believes. My goal isnโ€™t to argue theology but to live truthfully, test everything, and encourage others to do the same.

๐Ÿ“š A Glimpse Into My Work

Iโ€™m the co-author (with Angel) of Righteousness Restored: Walking the Ancient Path Beyond Paulโ€™s Distortionโ€”a book that challenges readers to return to the teachings of Yeshua over the traditions of men. Itโ€™s plain talk, solid Scripture, and an honest look at what righteousness really means when you strip away religious systems.

I’m also co-author of the Children’s series The Little Keepers of the Garden. This childrenโ€™s series introduces young readers to timeless truths through garden parables. Each story helps kids discover courage, kindness, and purpose as they learn to tend the โ€œgardenโ€ of their own hearts. Blending gentle storytelling with Hebraic values, the series invites families to grow together in faith, stewardship, and wonder.

We also co-host Listen and Obey on YouTube, where we discuss Hebraic faith, Scripture context, and the journey of walking out truth in everyday life.

๐Ÿ’› A Bit More About Me

When Iโ€™m not writing or recording, Iโ€™m probably on the water. Bass fishing is where I think best, pray most, and remember how simple life was meant to be. I love classic rock, blues, Hebrew melodies, and the sound of a new song taking shape.

At home, Iโ€™m a husband first, dad always, and unofficial cat wrangler. Faith, family, and quiet honestyโ€”thatโ€™s my rhythm.

๐ŸŽ“ Faith Journey

  • Raised: Presbyterian โ†’ later Baptist
  • Turning Point: 2017โ€”realizing the difference between church tradition and Yeshuaโ€™s teaching
  • Today: Walking out Hebraic roots, studying Torah, and encouraging others to test tradition against truth

That shift didnโ€™t make my faith smallerโ€”it made it real. Following Yeshua means asking hard questions, doing what He did, and letting Scriptureโ€”not systemsโ€”have the final say.

๐Ÿ“ฌ Want to Say Hello?

Iโ€™d love to hear from youโ€”whether youโ€™re studying Scripture, wrestling with questions, or just curious about the Hebraic walk.
