Angel’s Anti-inflammatory Sunrise Smoothie
This is a recipe that I came up with on Preparation Day (the day that precedes the Sabbath in which you prep your food for the Sabbath). I have still been experiencing some eczema on my right hand and wanted to kick of the anti-inflammatory foods for a few days to see if it made a difference….As a side note, it has improved the eczema. As a bonus, this is amazingly delicious, just as the sunrise was when Hubby and I were sipping it on Sabbath morning.
Angel’s Anti-Inflammatory Sunrise Smoothie
Equipment
- High Speed Blender
Ingredients
- 1 Small Fresh Pineapple or 6 slices
- 1 Medium Navel Orange peeled, deseeded, and frozen overnight
- 2 Medium Bananas sliced and frozen overnight
- 1 Inch Fresh Ginger peeled
- 1 Inch Fresh Turmeric washed
- 1 Dash Fresh Ground Pepper
- 1/4 Cup Water if needed
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in the high speed blended in the order listed and blend until completely smooth.
